Come join our team of talented and passionate volunteers to help make the festival magic happen. All volunteers may take home a Festival merch item of their choice at the end of their shift (hat, t-shirt or lens cloth).
Shift Descriptions
Registrant Packet Assembly (Sept 14-17)
Assembling registration packets and nametags, sorting and folding merch as needed at the Chicago Bird Alliance in North Park. Volunteers welcome anytime in the time window.
Registration Table
Checking in participants, distributing swag items, helping with merch sales via digital terminal.
Wayfinding
Hang out near registration to help people with questions on how to navigate the festival hub.
Vendor Load in/Load Out Support
Active role involving lifting and carrying items or using wheeled carts to help vendors and TUBF staff load in and out from the museum loading dock. Elevators are available.
Speaker/Workshop Room Attendant
Support speaker and workshop presenter rooms by assisting with setup, timekeeping, and room turnover.
Lunch Assistant
Assist in setting up catered lunches and handing out to attendees who have pre-purchased lunch tickets.

Please note that Registrant Packet Assembly shifts (Sept 14-17) are at the Chicago Bird Alliance Office at 5801-C N Pulaski Ave, Chicago IL 60659.
